Absences/Medical Appointments
Your child must be reported absent for any illness or an infectious condition, please contact the school immediately.
Holiday Leave Of Absence
Please contact the school for up to date government policy and/or legal requirements.
Administration Of Medicines
All medicines must be kept in the school office and a medical form needs to be completed by the parent/carer. This form not only gives permission for the school to administer medicine that needs to be taken during school hours but ensures that the appropriate dose is administered correctly. Only medicine prescribed by a doctor should be sent into school.
School Milk
1/3 pint cartons of semi-skimmed milk are available to order from www.coolmilk.com. Milk needs to be pre-ordered and paid for online. Children under 5 years of age are entitled to free milk. Should you wish your child to receive milk in school, please register online with cool milk who will then arrange for delivery to school.
School Meals
Hot school lunches are £2.53 per day and provided by Black Pepper. Lunches need to be pre-ordered and paid for online at www.blackpepperlunches.com. Packed lunches are welcome but please ensure that they are as healthy as possible. No chocolate, fizzy drinks or sweets.
Parents receiving DSS benefits may be entitled to free school meals for their children but the form FSM/4/88 must be completed first, which is available from the office.
Behaviour Scheme
Teachers use a Star Chart to promote positive behaviors in their classroom and prizes are given for for full charts.
