Welcome to Class 2

We are a brilliant class of 6 amazing learners in a mixed year 3 / 4 class with children aged 7, 8 and 9. In Class 2, we believe that the key to a good learning environment is built through a foundation of trust, respect and safety. These are the key factors to learning in our classroom and we work hard building these relationships to promote a positive attitude towards school. Each child is unique and deserves an approach towards their education which best suits them and we strive to meet those needs every day.

Each term, we read a book of the children’s choosing for pleasure. This term we will be reading Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl

We have Forest Friday every other week in our outdoor learning environment. They use life skills, nature and investigation-based activities to ensure the children have an enriching adventure come rain or shine! If they are lucky, this includes cooking a tasty snack on the campfire to keep them going.

Our P.E. session is currently on a Tuesday afternoon with a focus on physical fitness and Stamina with our Circuit Training sessions.

Spellings are given out on a Monday ready for a test the following Monday. We also have a times tables test every Monday to get ready for the Y4 tables test in June.
